We just slip into our usual patterns. Best friends. Confidants. Partners in crime. Kid stuff.

Except things are shifting between us.

I know I’m not crazy.

We are constantly touching. Hugging. Holding hands.

Finding ways to stand or sit beside each other.

Watching each other.

The love we have for each other is different.

More grown up.

The time passes by too quickly. I want to freeze every moment we have together so we never have to goodbye. A year is too long.
