Southern Baby: Southern Sayings for Little Ones is an adorable board book that introduces young readers to some of the expressions used in the South. This book is fun, cute and sassy. It teaches them basic Southern phrases and words that are common in everyday chat. It is accompanied by beautiful illustrations that make this an engaging read. If you’re not from the South, you may have heard a few and might not have known what they meant. I know for myself, I’ve heard a few but it was interesting to know the actual meaning behind. If you are from the South, then this will be a great way to introduce some of those catch phrases that capture that everyday charm.
